Tyreright is here to help!

A puncture is a real pain – it always seems to happen just when you want to go somewhere.

Modern tyres are tough and hard to puncture, but sometimes a nail, screw, or glass splinter can pierce the tyre casing – air escapes, the tyre goes down. Don’t panic, and don’t drive your car, it’s not safe, and it may ruin an otherwise repairable tyre.

Your first job is to remove the flat tyre and fit your spare. You will find instructions on how to do this in your Owner’s Manual, do it safely, out of the way of any traffic.

The good news is, if the puncture is within the tread area it can usually be repaired by the experts at Tyreright in no time at all.

Walk right in, sit right down – flat tyre repair – no appointment is needed.

Bring your flat tyre to your nearest Tyreright store. Our tyre experts will take a close look at it and let you know whether it can be fixed.

We’ll fully deflate the tyre, take it off the rim and inspect the damage, checking the structure of the tyre. If it’s repairable, we’ll insert a plug from inside the tyre through the puncture to make it airtight. This normally takes about 30 minutes.

We’ll then put the repaired tyre back on the rim, do a wheel balance, and fit the wheel onto your car.

Unfortunately, not all punctures are created equal. If your tyre has received severe damage to the sidewall, the shoulder, or the tread, our technicians will advise you to replace it with a new one.

Fortunately, Tyreright has the largest range of brands in Australia, so our tyre experts can advise you on the best options for your vehicle.

Right now, you’re probably saying; can I get tyre puncture repair near me? Luckily the answer is yes; Tyreright stores are all around the country, find your nearest here.
