Warranty & Return Policy

Tyreright Warranty Policy

Our goods are protected by the Australian Consumer Law, which ensures certain guarantees. You have the right to receive a replacement, refund, or compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage in case of a major failure. Additionally, if the goods are of unacceptable quality but not a major failure, you can request them to be repaired or replaced.

The additional warranty set forth in this document applies to all tyres (“Tyres”) sold by Tyreright Operations Pty Ltd (“Tyreright”), 39 Britton St, Smithfield, NSW 2164.

Apart from the rights and remedies protected by the Australian Consumer Law and other applicable laws, Tyreright provides a warranty for its sold tyres. Under normal usage and in compliance with the manufacturer’s maintenance recommendations and safety warnings, the tyres will be free from material and workmanship defects. This warranty remains valid for one (1) year from the purchase date indicated on the original Tyreright sale invoice and is only applicable to the original purchaser. The warranty terminates upon the transfer of the tyre to another person or entity.

This policy outlines all the warranties and remedies pertaining to the tyres, except as mentioned below. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tyreright:

  • Declares that no other warranty, whether expressed or implied, is applicable to the tyres.
  • Assumes no liability for any loss or damage, including costs, loss of time, inconvenience, or commercial losses, incurred by you or any third party directly, indirectly, or consequentially, in relation to the tyres, except as explicitly stated above.

This warranty does not override or add to any other Tyreright warranty for different products or services. It also does not exclude, limit, or modify:

  • Your rights or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
  • Any liability of Tyreright for failing to comply with a guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law.

Warranty Exclusions

The additional warranty provided above does not cover Tyres that become defective due to:

  • Road hazards, such as impact damage or punctures, regardless of repairability.
  • Incorrect mounting of the Tyre.
  • Improper storage of the Tyre.
  • Under-inflation, over-inflation, improper maintenance, improper repair, or any form of abuse.
  • Mechanical issues in the vehicle, including tyre/wheel imbalance or misalignment leading to uneven or rapid wear.
  • Fitting or usage with incompatible or improper valves, rims, or wheels.
  • Fitting to vehicles carrying loads or running at speeds exceeding the recommended limits.
  • Failure to follow the manufacturer’s technical recommendations published from time to time.
  • Accidents, fires, chemical explosions or exposure, tyre alterations (e.g., retreading), or acts of vandalism.
  • Damage caused by climatic factors, such as saltwater or sand.

Damaged, Incorrect, and Faulty Products

If you receive a damaged or faulty tyre, please contact us or the Tyreright store the Tyre(s) was originally purchased at to file a claim. Our team of tyre experts will review the claim and inform you of the outcome.

How to make a warranty claim

To initiate a claim, please review the following instructions:

  • If a tyre becomes defective within the warranty period mentioned above, you are eligible to make a claim.
  • To claim under the Manufacturer’s Warranty, you must have proof of purchase or a receipt.
  • You must immediately contact the Tyreright store the Tyre(s) was originally purchased at, so as to arrange a time for an inspection of the said Tyre(s). Alternatively, you may attend to any Tyreright store immediately upon discovering the fault, defect, damage or loss so as to arrange for an inspection to be conducted. If you fail to bring any defect, damage, loss or fault to the timely attention of Tyreright, Tyreright may deny or modify your claim pursuant to the terms and conditions of this warranty.
  • Once a claim is submitted, our tyre experts will review it, and you can expect a response within five working days.
  • If the tyre(s) fault is determined to be a manufacturing defect, we will cover the cost of the inspection. We will then arrange for replacements, including re-fitment, at no additional charge to you, or provide a refund for the faulty tyre(s). However, if the fault is not due to a manufacturing defect, the inspection cost will be your responsibility, and you will need to pay the accredited Tyreright vehicle/tyre specialist directly.
  • Please note that if you have taken the tyres to a tyre shop outside of the Tyreright network or no longer have the tyres in your possession, we will be unable to proceed with your claim, and it will be closed.
