Here’s how it works…

1. Once you have purchased your Kumho tyres under this guarantee simply enter your details below to register. The registration form requires your details, the tyre dealer’s details, invoice details, tyre serial number as well as the mileage on your vehicle at time of fitment.
2. Keep your mileage service booklet (Kumho recommend you keep the service booklet and original invoice together with the vehicle’s log books), and every 10,000km take your tyres to your Kumho Tyres dealer for a service.
3. Once you achieve the mileage we trust you will be happy to purchase another set of Kumho tyres. In the event that you did not achieve the guaranteed mileage, return the Kumho tyres to your Kumho dealer set out in the ‘place of purchase’ section of the service schedule.

This warranty works on a pro-rata basis; that is, if you achieve only 90% of the guaranteed mileage we will refund you 10% of the purchase price. In between services, ensure your tyres are inflated to the correct pressure and inspect your tyres regularly for damage.

Your Rights

Our mileage warranty is in addition to other rights and remedies that you have under a law in relation to the goods that we provide. Further, our goods come with warranties that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. All offers available at participating dealers only. Mileage warranty is a pro-rata guarantee, meaning you are refunded for mileage not achieved. A service schedule is included in the warranty program.

Congratulations on your purchase of the Kumho Road Venture APT KL51 or Crugen HT51 tyres. With our ‘no worries’ guarantee, if your tyres don’t last as long as they should, you don’t pay for the miles missed.

To cover your tyres under this guarantee simply complete the registration form below. To ensure we record your details accurately you will need to supply your contact information, the invoice number, dealer name, service booklet number and the product details of your tyres. You will also need to enter your tyre serial numbers which can be found directly on the tyres themselves.

Keep your mileage service booklet and original invoice together with the vehicle’s log books. Every 10,000km take your tyres to your closest Kumho Tyre dealer for a service. In between services ensure your tyres are inflated to the correct pressure and inspect your tyres regularly for damage.

How to register for the Road Hazard Warranty

After your purchase simply visit our Road Hazard Warranty page and provide your purchase and contact details. You will be provided with a receipt to your mobile or email address.

To make a claim

If in the event a tyre is damaged due to a road hazard within the first 180 days from the date of purchase, contact your place of purchase or find a participating Kumho store from our dealer locator on our website.

Provide the dealer with a copy of your registration receipt and a copy of the original invoice for the purchase of these tyres.

The tyres specified above will be replaced with Kumho tyres of the same size and pattern, if available. If not available, a comparable quality tyre will be substituted.

Service costs such as fitting, wheel balancing, wheel alignment and tyre disposal is not included and is payable to the fitting dealer by you directly

The free replacement tyre is to be fitted to the vehicle stated in the warranty registration

Terms & Conditions

This Warranty applies only to the original purchaser who completes the online warranty registration.

This Warranty applies only to tyres imported to Australia by Kumho Tyre Australia and operated within Australia. Tyres purchased and normally used outside Australia are not covered under this Warranty.

The warranty covers damage to a tyre caused by colliding with gutters, potholes or foreign objects on the road. This Warranty is not valid on damage that can be repaired, such as a nail penetrating the tread.

Kumho accepts no responsibility for injury to persons or damage to vehicle as a result of the Kumho tyres being damaged.

Kumho reserves the right to inspect damaged tyres before providing a free replacement tyre.

To the extent permitted by law, liabilities for consequential damages are disclaimed. In no case shall Kumho Tyre Australia Pty Ltd’s liability exceed the original cost of the purchased tyres (excluding service charges)

Run flat tyres are not applicable.

The applicable area is tarmac roads within Australia.

Tyres will not be covered by this Warranty if damage is caused: – By an act of vandalism, theft, willful abuse and neglect. – Use in motorsport, and non-tarmac roads. – Use in other than normal driving conditions or in commercial situations such as taxis, hire cars etc. – As a result of improper use or operation, including without limitation improper inflation pressure, overloading, use of an improper rim, vehicle misalignment, tyre/wheel assembly/ imbalance or other vehicle conditions, defects or characteristics, worn suspension components, improper mounting or demounting, misuse, misapplication, negligence, tyre spinning, tyre chain damage, chemical contamination (such as sealers, fillers, etc), fire or other externally generated heat, water or other material trapped inside the tyre during mounting, tyre alteration, racing or competition use, failure to rotate properly or regularly, or to properly maintain tyres. Tyres measuring less than 1.6mm of tread remaining are also not applicable to the warranty

Kumho reserves the right to inspect damaged tyres before providing a free replacement tyre.
